This design was inspired by the years I spent in Reykjavík, Iceland, where rain was a daily possibility and there was always a rainbow of rooftops. I hope this tea towel brightens your day, rain or shine!

Inspired by the colorful houses and rooftops in Reykjavík, the design for this tea towel was first painted in watercolor and the linework was drawn with a fine black pen at my rented studio space in downtown Reykjavík when I was living there. Since then, this design has become a well-loved art print adorning walls, notecards to send greetings, 100% organic cotton quilting fabric, and now a lovely tea towel! I use mine all the time, because nothing brings a smile to my face like this colorful pattern full of memories! It’s modern and sophisticated, joyful and colorful.
